Within each editorial tier, the displayed score uses balanced luck, speed and square-root weight capacity, includes a tier bonus, and adds 8 points for coin rods. It does not score price, quest difficulty or passive effects. The homepage planner instead filters by your budget and selected goal; quest and event rods need separate unlock checks.
